The response to our new TypePad Mobile interface for the iPhone and the iPod touch has been incredible. If you haven't seen it in action, please watch this video demo by Frank Gruber, the editor of Somewhat Frank. We're thrilled that so many TypePad users are enjoying the freedom of blogging from their mobile devices. And naturally, we're always working on ways to enhance the experience.
Today, the power of the iPhone-optimized interface for TypePad is pushed one step further with the introduction of statistics display. The same visit tracking and referrer data that have been baked into TypePad for years are now available on-the-go and live, just like on the desktop. Visit i.typepad.com to find a link to the new stats feature.
We're also excited to announce that developments for a native TypePad mobile application for the iPhone are underway and will comply with the guidelines set by the iPhone Software Developer's Kit. You can sign up to receive email updates about TypePad iPhone applications by visiting the TypePad Mobile page.
As always, we would love to hear from you about features you'd like to see added to any of our mobile services. Learn all about how you can use your mobile phone with your TypePad blog on the freshly updated TypePad Mobile page!
