TypePad Traffic Tip #1. Post More Often

Traffic gurus all have a million tricks to tell you about, but they often forget the most important one. In order to get traffic to your site, there has to be a site worth going to. The more content, the better. Every time you post you remind Google about your site. With the new TypePad, we've made it as easy as possible to post from anywhere you might be: from your dashboard, mobile phone, email or from anywhere online using the new TypePad Blog It bookmarklet. 

Here's a few shortcuts:

1. Schedule posts: If you get come up with several ideas for posts, publish one of them now and set the others to publish over the next several days. A steady stream of content engages readers and search engines.
2. Tap into the hot topics: Think about what's coming up in pop culture, the news or your industry. Start posting now about events and happenings everyone is anticipating.
3. Browse and reblog: Take it further - if you are not always ready with something to say, surf to your favorite sites, look for a nugget of inspiration and use the Blog It bookmarklet to start your post.
