Did You Know?: Adding a Navigation Bar

You might have visited a TypePad site in the past and noticed navigation links under the banner. If you’ve ever wondered how to add these own links to your site, your biweekly “Did You Know?” post is here to help!

It’s very easy to add a navigation bar to the top area of your blog, right under your banner. Simply go to Design > Content, click the pencil icon for Navigation Bar, and, with the Simple configuration, type in the link titles and URLs that you want to use. Our Knowledge Base also has more information on how to do this.

For those Pro Unlimited subscribers, you can also use Custom CSS to give your navigation bar even more options.

If you’re looking for even more choices for your navigation bar, like adding a script or your own HTML, there’s additional information under the Advanced Navigation Bar Configuration section or, if you're feeling really adventurous, you can add images to your blog's navigation bar instead.

We hope you found this useful! Check back every other week for more "Did You Know?" tips to help make your blog even better!
