A Finely-Tuned Design for Harpblog

In the world of music, Camac Harps is known for being the sole manufacturer of concert harps in France. They use their Typepad blog to share business news, on-the-go updates from director Jakez François, information about competitions and pretty much everything else you can imagine that's related to harps, harpists and harp enthusiasts.

Camac needed a new blog design that's modern, professional, and easy to use. They contacted us with an idea of what they were looking for and provided an updated logo to use in the design. Using their requests as a starting point, we created a new design that offers more space for post content, a streamlined sidebar, and improved navigation links. Check out the before and after below.

Ravi Pratap Singh's updated blog design leaves an imprint

Ravi contacted us because he wanted to give his blog an updated look but wasn't sure where to start. After a brief discussion, we recommended our Advanced Design Consultation Service, a package that's best suited for established blogs that need some expert design assistance.

We asked Ravi some questions about his vision for his blog and then made our own recommendations, based on our design knowledge and experience with blogging best practices. Mi Molinete Is Pretty As A Picture

Ruth loves Typepad for her blog and when she decided to create a portfolio site to showcase her photography, she wanted to host it on Typepad too. She knew what type of layout she wanted but she wasn't sure how to achieve this by herself so she reached out to the Typepad blog services team. She gave us a mock-up and provided the images to be used in the design; we pulled it all together. The new Mi Molinete site we created for her has a clean and elegant look with splashes of color that puts her photos front and center. Ruth was thrilled to see her vision become a reality, and so are we.

Rangers Tribune's Sporty New Design

Nick runs a popular sports blog, called Rangers Tribune, about his local professional hockey team. He wanted to make the front page look more like a news website than a standard blog and to revamp the overall design. He contacted Typepad blog services and requested a custom design service.

Nick provided the images he wanted to use and our team set up the layout and created the new design. The new front page has a featured post with a large image and a grid of recent posts, each highlighted with a thumbnail image from the post (the screenshot above only gives a taste so click through to view the whole design on the blog). It's a great way to draw attention to posts and a good example of what can be done on Typepad using Advanced Templates. Nick is thrilled with the results and so are we.

Getting Off To A Great Start On Typepad

Valerie wanted to start a blog for her company's new venture, ECM Reflections. She needed some help with getting the blog up and running, so she signed up for a Power Launch Service. Design Implementation - Making It Work On Typepad

Some of the most interesting design requests we get are for our Design Implementation Service. The customer has already come up with a design (often one that is used for a separate website) and wants to know how to implement it on a Typepad blog. Tuning Up Dan's Blog

Dan is a long-time Typepad blogger and also an author. He was looking to consolidate his web presence around his Typepad blog, Dan J. Brennan, and to improve the appearance and functionality of the blog. He contacted Typepad blog services. After discussing his needs with him, we recommended a Tune-Up Service.
